Magda Indigo has been a professional photographer for over 20 years. Her clients are as diverse as the BBC, Harper Collins and the Ministry of Defence. She is a Getty Images contributor and regularly has work published in magazines, books and corporate communications across the world.

In 2009 Harper Collins commissioned her images for several book covers including Romeo & Juliet, Pride & Prejudice and the hugely successful release of Wuthering Heights. More book covers are in the pipeline with Italian Publisher Casa Editrice Corbaccio s.r.l. and German publisher Bertelsman also choosing her images.

A book featuring her photographs, Backing the Future – voices of experience was published as part of the Millenium Project Debate of the Age, with support from Age Concern and Yorkshire Arts.

Magda is well respected in the photographic community for her open and helpful attitude to fellow visual artists and she has a loyal following on the world's largest photo sharing site Flickr. Her blog is also a popular read.

Magda has exhibited her fine art photographs in Belgium, Holland and England. Her work features in private collections in Australia, France, USA, Canada, Holland, Belgium and the UK.

Creative, inspirational and driven to constantly achieve perfection, she adds fun and humour to every project she embarks on and has a gift for energising everyone around her.

"I like people, animals, nature and I'm always looking for 'beauty' in everything. The light has to be good. I look through the lens, zoom in - or out - walk closer, further, higher or lower to make a perfect composition.

"My camera and lens are the extensions of my emotive vision, the inner me. I like sharing those precious moments - often long gone. If I had not seen and recorded it there and then, words would be very inadequate, so my pictures have their own language.

"When you see them, I hope they will speak to you, or release an emotion. I hope so, because then I'm happy and have reached my goal," says Magda Indigo.
