Distinctive photography that goes beyond the obvious

Born in Cape Town, South Africa, Paul graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Law and Anthropology from Rhodes University. After his BA he went on to gain a Postgraduate Higher Diploma in Journalism and in 1987 and 1988 he studied photography under the world renowned South African photographer Obie Oberholzer.

He worked as a photojournalist during the height of the troubles in South Africa. He then moved to Belgium where he graduated with a Diploma in Commercial Photography.

Together with wife and fellow professional photographer, Magda, he opened a studio in Belgium, taking on portraiture, events, weddings, editorial for magazines and advertising photography.

The next move was to England. He is now based together with Magda in Yorkshire.

Paul has had numerous exhibitions and sold work to private collectors in England, Belgium, Germany, South Africa, Japan and the USA.
